Tribute & Message From The Family

Amos Reginald Wintle, 76, lost his battle with Lymphoma on June 26, 2018. Born February 24, 1942 in St. George, Quebec, he was son of the late Oscar and Yvonne (Labonte) Wintle of Quebec, Canada.

He leaves behind his Loving wife of 11 years, Ruth (Hoadley) Wintle, married Sept 10, 2006 to present and her children, Mark Blanchard (Valerie) of Lehigh Acres, FL and Ron Blanchard (Lynne) of Milford, NH, David Buchanan (Karen) of Brookline, NH, and Debra Mercier (Norm) of Antrim, NH. He also leaves behind Claudette (Drouin) Wintle, first wife and mother of his three children, Daniel Wintle (Pamela) of Londonderry, NH, Kathy Gendron (Jeff) of Litchfield, NH and Steeve Wintle (Aryn) of Berwick, ME, along with his grandchildren; Douglas and David Wintle of Londonderry, NH, Thomas Wintle, Mackenzie Lipe and Travis Marshall of Berwick, ME.

Amos was a very skilled Union Carpenter (Local33) that worked in the greater Boston area for over 40 years. During that time, he worked for W.S. Kenney of Natick, MA for 20+ years and for Eastern Drywall for 20+ years. As a young man he also worked as a welder and translator at a gold mine in St. Simon Les Mines, Quebec, Canada. He had been retired for the past 13 years enjoying life and traveling with Ruth. They split their time between New Hampshire and Florida.

Amos's greatest passion was making sure his children had everything they needed to be successful in life. He was fortunate to have family and great friends that he spent time with Snowmobiling. He spent time volunteering in the community with the Hudson SnoMen. He also took great pride in his Award winning red Corvette. He and Ruth are both longstanding members of the Gate City Corvette Club.

A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, July 2nd from 5-7pm with a reception until 8pm at the Cremation Society of New Hampshire, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Amos's memory may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, PO Box 98018, Washington DC, 20090.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Ruth and all the extended family. My Father Ernie Amos's cousin, we spent many times at their home in NH. Great times with the family. I have many fond memories of our trips to visit my cousins, which my Dad always made sure that we knew our extended family. Amos' Mother was one of my favourite Great Aunts. and Amos' farther Uncle Oscar always had a joke or two. One thing that I will remember is that we are very lucky to be part of this great exented family called the Wintle's. This is something that I hope you will all remember as you go through your grief, as the memories and kindness that you have will remain with all of you. Deepest sympathy Beverly Wintle March, and Barry March
