Thank you for all your prayers and kind words at this time. I am very thankful to Jesus for the 35 years of marriage to Cara. She was a great blessing to me. I know she is with Jesus now.

Your family was always so welcoming when the kids were growing up. I am truly sorry for your lost.

I have fond memories of taking choir my junior and senior year at CCA. Sure I didn't know what I was doing but I certainly remember some funny moments of Mrs. Kilman attempting to keep our attention in choir. Thanks Mrs. Kilman for serving God well.

I was saddened reading Cara's passing. Our paths have crossed so many times, Church, Tupperware, Joannes, Market Basket and the list goes on, Cara's family was her life. Everytime we met she would always give me an update on her daughters and Zola. Ernie, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

Thank you for sewing my purple dragon curtains and the snowflakes you crocheted for me : ) I loved all the culinary goodies you brought to work ... and there were many ! Sad I did not go to your retirement party ... and I will do my best to be there for your going away service. All my best for you and yours .... peace and love in your passing as only a priestess could bestow ... I will miss you and am thankful to have known you and call you a friend !!!

I'm so sorry to hear of Cara's passing. At Joann Fabrics, we knew if a customer had a question on a sewing project, Cara was the one to go to for the best way for the customer to finish her project. She's been missed since her retirement, and will be missed even more now.

The Kilman home was my Thanksgiving home several years in a row while I was on the east coast and without family. Everybody was extremely hospitable and welcoming, but especially Cara who went far out of her way to make everything nice, tasty, comfortable, beautiful, etc. She made it my east coast family. I remain grateful for everything the Kilman family offered to me over the years, and my heart goes out to you all.
