I was saddened to learn of Fern's passing. I worked with Fern in the Skowhegan School district. She was a wonderful person, cheery, positive, kind, warm-hearted and had a smile that warmed my heart. May she Rest In Peace. She was a valuable and talented teacher, mentor and friend.

To Fern's family: I am sorry to here that Fern has left us here on Earth, but she is in a better place with no hurt and suffering. I enjoyed working with her in our teaching career. She was a loving, caring soul with an upbeat personality. She always had that smile on her face. She will be missed.

Fern was a dear friend. I taught with her in Skowhegan from 1976-78 and have been in touch with her on and off ever since. She was a wonderful, warm, loving person, proud of her children and always willing to help whoever she worked with. Fern, dear, you are missed!
