Condolence & Memory Journal
Joey and I were pals since we were 8 or 9. I have many memories of the crazy stuff we used to dream up and do. It was a lot of fun growing up in the old neighborhood. Even though we still lived in the same houses we took different paths after our service time. Joey remained a staunch bachelor and I married, we didn't see much of each other. But when we could we talked like the old friends we always were. The last time I saw him he gave me a little Patriots stick-on football off of his dashboard, I think he knew time was short. I keep that little memento on my desk at work so I will think of him each time I see it. I will miss him.
