On Sunday March 21st, 2021 at 2:15 p.m. Violet "Vi" Madeline Dupuis-Gugliotta (Lopilato) passed away peacefully at the age of 93, surrounded by loved ones.
Violet was born on February 13, 1928 in Woburn, MA to the late Mary Catone and Anthony Lopilato, who immigrated here from Italy. She was the youngest of seven siblings, now all deceased. Violet loved cooking, ballroom dancing, playing the guitar and harmonica, completing crossword puzzles, watching western movies, listening to Gene Autry, and her funny demeanor was sure to bring laughter to the room. She was the former owner of the restaurant Rosie's Place in Walpole, MA. Violet enjoyed spending time traveling with her family and exploring the outdoors.

The former wife of the late Thomas Gugliotta, Sr. Vi and Tom spent most of their married life in of Norwood, MA. Violet is survived by her five children. Her two daughters Jean Nickola of Franklin, MA and Margaret Newbury of Milford, MA. Her three sons Joe and his wife, Thomas Gugliotta, Jr. and wife Belinda of Attleboro, MA and Mark Gugliotta and wife Jeanne of Concord, NH. She is also survived by her twelve grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Later in life she met her life companion Myron "Doc" Weiner and they enjoyed each other's company, until Docs untimely passing in February 2021. Violet is also survived by her loving cat Cali whom she loved dearly.

Mom you will never be forgotten and will always be loved. You've earned your way mother. Rest in Peace!

Mom's wishes were to be cremated, no services will be held at this time and a celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
