Tribute & Message From The Family

Linda Jean Gray, 59, of Pembroke, passed away unexpectedly at Concord Hospital on May 3, 2021 with her loving family by her side. She was born in Concord, NH on July 23, 1961, the daughter of Jim and Jean (Locke) Brown and the late Walter Gray. She leaves behind six brothers; Steven Gray and Stephanie of Barnstead, Peter Elliott and Sue of Pittsfield, Mike Elliott and Barbara of Florida, Brett Brown and Karla of Chichester, Brian Brown and April of Tennessee, and James Brown of California, a sister, Linda Munn and Andy Osbourne of Pittsfield, many nieces, and nephews, and her loving partner of twenty-two years, John Pinard and his two grandchildren, Alexander and Magnus Watkins.

Linda was a 1979 graduate of Pittsfield Highschool. She attended classes at Hesser College in Manchester, NH and worked for Southern New Hampshire Radiology for thirty years. Linda was a lifelong member and past president of the Womens' Auxiliary, Unit 28 of Suncook, NH. Linda looked forward to Monday lunches and frequent walks along Marginal Way in Ogunquit, ME with her mother, sisters, and aunts. She enjoyed their time together talking, sharing stories and celebrating events. Linda preferred a simple life by caring for others, performing small acts of kindness and sharing her warmth. Linda made frequent visits to Atlantic City, California and the Dominican Republic.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, May 10th at 10am in Floral Park Cemetery, 30 Barnstead Road in Pittsfield. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss. I worked with Linda starting way back in 1980 at the NH Water Supply and Pollution Control Commission which is now the Dept. of Environmental Services. It was a young group with many of us just out of school. So many fun times, laughs, and good memories.

We had so much fun going out to dinner and out to the legion for a night of partying. You were definitely the life of the party. We are still in shock but know you will always be there to watch over us. Til we meet again. We love you.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family- I have known Linda for many years, although we have not seen each other in a few years - she was a kind and great friend. Thinking of you all.
