Tribute & Message From The Family

After a period of declining health due to amyloidosis, Cynthia Jane Landry, of Nashua, NH passed away on June 13, 2021 at the age of 74. She leaves behind her husband of 53 years, Larry Landry, and their children Kara Fieldhouse, Matthew Landry, and daughter-in-law Angela Landry. She was the adored Nana of Maya, David, and Serenity Fieldhouse.

Cindi was born on November 25, 1946 in Newport, VT to father John Hunter and mother Barbara Hunter. She grew up with her parents and three sisters in northern Vermont and the family later moved to Manchester, NH when she was a teenager. After high school Cindi attended the Mary Hitchcock School of Nursing in Hanover, NH, graduating in 1966 as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She worked as a nurse for many years before raising her children.

Cindi and Larry were married on May 25, 1968. They settled in Hollis, NH, where they lived and brought up their two children. Cindi loved her family with her whole heart. She always found the good in others and touched many lives in many ways. She was full of compassion and caring, which was evident in her professional life as a nurse and as well as her personal life as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She always let you know that she cared, whether it was with a warm hug, a thoughtful gift, or a kind word and a smile. Cindi enjoyed nature, time at Thompson Lake in Maine, and most of all being with family and friends. Cindi was a lifelong member of Faith Baptist Church in Hollis, NH. Her steadfast faith in God kept her strong throughout her life and especially through her health struggles over her last years.

Cindi is survived by her beloved husband, two children, daughter-in-law, three grandchildren, and her sisters Beverly, Letty, and Gwen as well as in-laws Norm and Anita Landry, Al and Pauline Moyer, Lorna Landry, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brother-in-law Donald Landry.

All are welcome to a memorial service being held at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 19th at Faith Baptist Church, 43 Wheeler Rd in Hollis. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made in Cindi's name to Marguerite's Place of Nashua, NH (margueritesplace.org)

I remember your mom as very sweet and kind. She enjoyed listening to stories I’d tell about my times babysitting you. (Matt and Kara) My best story was when we made ice cream sundaes and we raced to eat them without utensils. We dove right in and got messy. Your mom laughed as I told her. I remember her thoroughly enjoying the retelling. I’m sorry to hear about her passing

Larry, Kara abd Matt, we are so sorry, but thankful to see the post that mom died.so I could write to you. She was a wonderful friend to me, and great wife and mom! Always remember the winter fun on our sledding hill and parties at your home. Best was the school bus always stopping at the 3 next door houses and watching you kids playing while you waited! Keep those sweet memories near, and know how much you were loved. Claire and David
