Tribute & Message From The Family

Beloved Brother and Proud United States Navy Veteran

Thomas Steven Hodge, 65, of Manchester, NH, passed away at Hackett Hill Center on June 26, 2021 following a period of declining health. Born in Nashua, NH on August 6, 1955, he was a son of the late Herbert Hodge Jr. and Phoebe (Batchelder) Hodge.

Thomas was raised in Wilton, NH and was a 1974 graduate of Wilton Lyndeborough Cooperative High School. After graduation, he joined the United States Navy. Thomas proudly served his country for nearly 18 years as a court stenographer, and he enjoyed the opportunity to travel the world while in the service. After being discharged, he lived in San Diego for many years until returning to New Hampshire in 2001. Most recently, Thomas worked at the SNHU Arena assisting with event set up. He was a kind-hearted person who proudly volunteered at the New Horizons soup kitchen. Thomas loved music, especially playing the drums. He was also a car aficionado who enjoyed trips to the New England Dragway with his family.

Thomas is survived by his siblings, Deborah Tremblay and her husband, Dorothy Hodge, Kathleen Bennion and her husband Stuart, and Timothy Hodge and his wife Sherie; as well as several nieces, a nephew, extended family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 9th at 1pm at Mount Calvary Cemetery, Abbot Hill Road, Wilton, NH.
