Condolence & Memory Journal

It was a privilege to know Edna. Though I had known her for years, I got to know her better through our Madbury Library, when she served as Chair of our Library Board of Trustees, and as we both served on the Fund Raising Committee for our lovely new library facility. Edna was key to several grants that our Friends group received. She was also an insightful member of our library Book Group and always had a unique and thoughtful perspective on the books we read, often encouraging us to include poetry in our readings. Her poems and artwork were also beautiful and inspiring. We miss her. Sincere condolences to Michael, Jonathan and Anna.

Edna was such a wonderful woman. She was kind, humble, and always willing to help in any way. She delivered donated coffee and pastries to Seacoast Family Promise for many years. Didn't have to ask, she was just enjoying helping out families with children experiencing homelessness. Rest in the Lord's arms now Edna. Well done my friend.

I hired Edna years ago; she was recommended by a friend. I needed help in dealing with some crazy life circumstances. She was an angel to me at that juncture. I just noticed her name and have, sadly, read her obit to discover some formerly unknown connections like West Virginia and poetry. I knew nothing of her as I poured my heart out to her. I am forever grateful to her for gently coaching me to spread my wings and fly, and for her wise and very caring spirit. I will never forget her and will ever be grateful for her assistance to my life. Rest in peace, dear Edna White O'Sullivan. Condolences to your family and friends. Bonnie WInona

I thought the world of Edna; and I am very saddened to learn of her passing.

My best wishes go to her family members and close friends.
