Condolence & Memory Journal

I'm very sorry for your loss. Leona was a sweet, spunky lady. I'll share this story. I own Windsock Gardens in Swanzey and one day several years ago Leona stopped in. The first thing she said as she stepped through the door was, I've done something stupid!! Apparently she had been to the dump and there was a clay strawberry jar in the give away pile. She didn't want or need it as she had several at home but she took it anyway. I asked her what she came in for and she said all she needed was a zucchini plant. I swapped her a zucchini plant for the lovely strawberry jar and have planted it every year since with tuberous begonias. I think of her each year that I bring it out! Leona was a character and will be dearly missed. My condolences. Sarah

Well your time has come and you are flying with the angels! I am sure my Mom will be there to welcome you as you had welcomed our family so many times. I will miss your smile and your sage advice given freely over the years. I am happy you were in my life and the time we did have was well spent. I look forward to being with you in times to come and so until we meet again, rest in peace and know you were loved!
