Loving Sister, Mother and Grandmother

Obituary

Millie Emily Bauer passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018 surrounded by family at the Courville of Nashua, where they lovingly cared for her until her last breath. She was born on March 16th, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA the daughter of Rudolph and Anna (Klingberg) Bauer.

Millie was an incredible woman, she truly believed cleanliness was required to be near God, not a day would go by without the roar of a vacuum cleaner in her house, regardless of the time of day.

Millie was an amazing, caring, and compassionate mother who positively impacted all who came to know her in life. She nurtured and molded to sons in her likeness. Millie had three grandsons who she loved and spoiled on a regular basis.

Millie had been a member of Christ the King Lutheran Church for over 55 years, where some of her favorite activities included bell choir and the alter guild. Her favorite time of year was Holy week, so it is fitting that her passing and services are occurring during this week.

Millie was a wonderful pianist. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening, cross-stitching, watching competitive figure skating, shopping and spending time with her cats. She loved to travel and would frequently share stories of her adventures to Hawaii, Israel and Europe. Some of her favorite travel memories include experiencing the Oberammergau Passion Play and sipping Mai Tai's on Waikiki beach.

Millie was a 25-year employee of Digital Equipment Corporation, and a long-time administrative assistant at Christ the King Lutheran Church in Nashua New Hampshire.

Millie is survived by her son Karl V. Peicker of New Boston NH, her son Mark Peicker and his wife Kim and their three sons Mark Edward, Matthew and Andrew Peicker all of Bedford NH and her nephew Jim Wunderlich of Fogelsville PA.

She was predeceased by her sister Eleanor and her half-brothers Rudolph and Paul, as well as her ex-husband Karl F. Peicker.
